VIDEO: Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Hotlap at Lausitzring

The AUTO BILD SPORTSCARS channel on Youtube recently released an exclusive video of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ tearing the tarmac up at the Lausitzring racetrack with a blistering hot lap time of 1:28.05.

The driver behind the car always must be taken into account, but the channel claims that the SVJ cooked the 911 Turbo S by two seconds and the Ferrari F8 Tributo by a full second.

The Aventador SVJ sis no regular Aventador. The Italian supercar manufacture had taken the highly successful (and very fast) pre-existing Aventador and cranked its aerodynamic knob up 40% with the addition of a full aero re-work at the front and rear of the car; selling 900 units to consumers to the tune of $520,000 a pop.

In this video, you can really hear the driver squeezing out every ounce of performance to be found in the 6.5L V12 engine. It’s not easy to keep a 750 horsepower car planted on a short and technical track, but the driver manages to bring the lap to the finish line and spank it’s Ferrari counterpart.
